3. Social Media APIs and Third-Party Services

Octo Pilot relies on APIs, authentication systems, and other services provided by third-party social media companies.

When you connect a third-party account, your use of that platform remains subject to that platform's own terms, privacy policies, developer policies, and account settings.

Information received through third-party APIs will be used only to provide or improve features associated with the functionality for which access was granted, subject to applicable platform requirements.

Google API Data

Where Octo Pilot accesses information through Google APIs, Octo Pilot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google or YouTube information obtained through authorized APIs is used only for functionality requested by the user, such as connecting a channel, managing authorized content, publishing content, or displaying authorized channel or content information.

Meta / Facebook / Instagram Data

Information received through Meta technologies, including Facebook and Instagram APIs, is used only for functionality authorized by the user and permitted under Meta's applicable platform policies and permissions.

This may include connecting Pages or Instagram professional accounts, publishing authorized content, retrieving authorized account information, managing authorized interactions, or displaying analytics when the user has granted the applicable permissions.

TikTok Data

Information received through TikTok APIs is used only for authorized Octo Pilot functionality and in accordance with applicable TikTok developer requirements.

Other Platforms

Similar principles apply to information obtained through other supported social networks, including X and any platforms Octo Pilot may support in the future.

4. Access Tokens and Authorization Credentials

Social media platforms may provide Octo Pilot with access tokens or similar credentials after you authorize a connection.

These credentials allow Octo Pilot to communicate with the platform on your behalf within the permissions you approved.

Octo Pilot uses these credentials only for authorized functions of the Service.

We do not ask users to provide their social media account passwords when an official OAuth or platform authorization process is available.

Access may expire or be revoked by you or the applicable social media platform at any time.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or social media account data.

We may disclose information only where reasonably necessary to operate Octo Pilot, including to:

These providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services for Octo Pilot.

Information associated with connected third-party accounts may be removed or made inaccessible after the applicable account is disconnected, authorization expires, or a valid deletion request is completed, subject to legal, security, backup, and platform-specific requirements.

Backup copies may remain temporarily within secure backup systems until those backups are overwritten or deleted according to our normal retention processes.

8. Disconnecting Social Media Accounts

You may revoke Octo Pilot's access to a social media account through the applicable social media platform's account or security settings.

You may also disconnect supported accounts from Octo Pilot when that functionality is available within your account.

Disconnecting an account prevents future authorized API access once the applicable authorization is revoked or expires.

Disconnecting a social media account does not necessarily delete your entire Octo Pilot account.

For complete deletion instructions, please see our Data Deletion page.

Users may request deletion of their Octo Pilot account and associated personal information.

Requests may be submitted through:
